Our Leadership

The Winders Family moved to Bloomington to start their ministry at Emmanuel in January of 2022. John served as an Assistant Pastor for six years at his home church in Ellettsville, Indiana, then as a Lead Pastor for seven years in Linton, Indiana. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Bible and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity through Southern Seminary. John and Heidi are High School Sweethearts and have been married since August of 2006. They have five daughters: Aleah, Ellie Mae, Claira, Delaney, and Blair.

Nick Bilotta has been serving as our Youth Director at Emmanuel since January of 2024. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University in 2023. Along with leading our Youth Ministry, Nick is also a school teacher. Nick taught for two years teaching 6th grade at McCormick's Creek Elementary School. He currently teaches Physical Education and Health at Lighthouse Christian Academy and serves as their Discipleship Coordinator. Nick has been married to his wife Becca since June of 2023.

Emily moved to Bloomington, Indiana with her family in the summer of 2022. Her family quickly found their church home at Emmanuel. She is our Sunday Kids Coordinator and has a passion for teaching children about Jesus. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Management and a Master of Science degree in Public Service Administration both from the University of Evansville. Emily has been married to Luke since 2011. They have three children: Mary Emma, Lucy, and Pearson. 

Holly Mix is the wife to Phil and a homeschooling mom to three daughters. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Government and Business. A contracts specialist and pricing analyst for years, she left her career to be a stay-at-home mom. Now that her daughters are older, she is grateful to serve her longtime church family as Office Manager, beginning in January 2026. Holly and Phil were married at Emmanuel in 2008.
