1. Timothy humbly served people instead of himself.

 A. Pattern your life after spiritually mature people rather than peers.  Philippians 2:19-20

     B. Cultivate a genuine concern for others, not just for yourself.  Philippians 2:20

     C. Focus on Christ’s interests instead of your interests.   Philippians 2:21

     D. Serve others, even when it is hard.   Philippians 2:22

     E. Sacrifice life’s pleasures for the sake of the gospel.   Philippians 2:23-24

2. Epaphroditus humbly risked his life for the gospel instead of personal gain.   Philippians 2:25-30

     A. Honor ordinary people, not just exceptional people.   Philippians 2:25

     B. Care about other people’s concerns, not just your own.   Philippians 2:26-27

     C. Focus on what is best for others, not what is best for you.   Philippians 2:28

     D. Take risks for the sake of the gospel.   Philippians 2:29-30
